  • Where rural students thrive in Melbourne

“It gives our rural kids the opportunity to be based in Melbourne for a few days and explore city life, with all of the rich learning links to History and other integrated topics. The Urban camp team are well organised and easy to deal with, coordinating meals and experiences so that we get the absolute most out of our stay. It is seamless, experience and comprehensive service that keeps us coming back and enable us to give our rural kids the camp they look forward to for years.” — St Arnaud Primary School, 2026.

  • City access that opens pathways

“We held our Year 11 and 12 camp at Urban Camp and enjoyed the experience very much. Our school is quite some distance from the city and the availability of such accommodation is invaluable for our students to engage in activities they would otherwise miss out on - particularly visiting a variety of tertiary institutions in a 2 or 3 day period to scout out potential pathways. The Camp and staff were wonderful and the location convenient to the city.” — Western Port Secondary College.

  • A trusted city camp tradition

“We are a small school in a rural area and a visit to the city every second year is the culmination of a couple of our learning units. We have been visiting Urban camp for about 18 years. The accomodation and services offered by Urban Camp suit our needs perfectly.” — St Mary’s Primary School, Ararat.
