Accommodation for groups

Weekends and school holidays are dedicated to hosting community groups including sporting teams, groups with special needs, performance groups and faith-based groups.

We provide a city camp base for community groups from country Victoria, interstate, overseas and metropolitan Melbourne. Many come to experience and learn about life in the city or perhaps to use our facilities for team building, training or rehearsals. 

Versatile Space

Our Camp is enjoyed by a variety of groups each year. With two large multi-purpose rooms and a recreation hall with stage there is ample space for meetings, rehearsals, performances, workshops, games or just chilling out.

Convenient Location

Sporting clubs enjoy being a safe, three-minute walk to Melbourne Sports Centre Parkville, one of Australia’s premier high-performance sporting venues.

Other sporting venues are easily accessed via public transport including O’Brien Icehouse, Melbourne Park, Princess Park rugby field and AFL training grounds.

Royal Park neighbour, Melbourne Zoo is a short walk from Urban Camp.
