The evolution and ingenuity of animation takes centre stage in our tour of outstanding student works. Students explore the science behind how animation works alongside the wonderful opportunities animation offers for expression, visual engagement, and storytelling.
This lessons focuses on:
student made animations
history of animation and various animation techniques
demystifying the animation process to inspire students in their own creations

In this interactive talk, we focus on the development of film, the arrival of TV and the very first videogames.
Follow-up curriculum-focused activities encourage learners to make further discoveries around the past, present and future of the moving image.

Secrets of Movie-Making

Through films made by young people, students learn more about filmmaking and take away some know-how to inspire their own productions.
